Photoshooting wild water kayaking Kayak Fest - Grab / Montenegro

The unique geographical position of Montenegro makes it a home of many pristine canyons and wild rivers. Rivers in that region are among the most beautiful ones in Europe because of their purity and incredible mixture of turquoise with emerald color in the deeper sources. The impressive landscapes, magnificent canyons, crystal clear water with wild rapids and whirlpools will make paddling a memorable experience for every kayaker.

On the other hand, the combination of all this together has created a photographic paradise. The possibilities for photographs are unlimited, and the combination of adrenaline and incredible natural beauty create a huge photographic challenge. Beautiful colors, stones of unreal shapes, crystal clear water and maximally motivated kayaks create every photo in a unique and unrepeatable way, which is why this photoshooting was in every sense special to me.

The first day of the festival took place in the common rowing of kayakers down the Tara stream, and the night was marked by the ethno-rock band Dzanum from Niksic who inspired the kayakers for the next day with the gig full of energy.
On the second day of the festival there were the presentations on the Balkan Rivers Tour movement, outdoor photography and protection on the rivers, as well as DJ sets and performance of the Belgrade indie-rock band Stray Dogg.

The third day of the festival went on as a sign of beginner support. A brief training was organized by Ivan Safradin, a professional kayaker and a kayak instructor, a member of GSS Croatia and a part of the security team Adidas Sickline. The awards ceremony followed and awards were given to the participants afterwards. At the very end of the event the kayakers rounded up this year's festival by co-rowing the Tara river.
The main aim of this festival is to promote white water kayaking and also the natural beauty of Montenegro trough video and photo materials.

Thanks to my friends Gigo and Dimitrije for this great photoshooting oportunity. See you next year!
